Remove your dentures from your mouth.
Hold your dentures over the sink, a bowl of water or folded towel in case you drop them.
Put a small amount of denture cleaning solution on your toothbrush.
💡Do not use toothpaste to clean your dentures as some toothpastes can scratch them.
Brush ALL parts of your dentures including the parts that sit against your gums. Soaking your dentures daily in a denture cleaning solution will to help remove plaque and stains.
💡If your dentures have wire clips take care not to damage them during cleaning.
Rinse your dentures in cold or warm water (do not use hot water or bleach).
You also need to brush your tongue, gums and the roof of your mouth, as well as any remaining teeth. You should do this twice daily to maintain your overall oral health.
